Welcome to “My Ebook Place”
Since the development of the internet, we’ve been faced with an overload of information, most of which only confuses or clutters the brain, making it increasingly difficult to sort through what might be truly useful. And if this is true for everyone, it is even more true for young people!
The idea for My Ebook Place was born from this observation. We are a team of several enthusiasts of all kinds of writing that contributes to raising public awareness or improving our quality of life. Initially, we wanted to call the platform “The Useful Books,” because that’s exactly what it is: useful books in a given field, or quality novels addressing important social issues. But since these are digital texts, the entire team ultimately opted for “My Ebook Place.”
We offer you a limited number of writings at a time, in order to prevent them from being drowned in too large a mass of works.
Exploring Other Perspectives
We wanted to develop a concept that would stand out, in its approach, content and objectives, from the online bookstores currently available.
We therefore offer you texts by people whom members of our team have had the opportunity to meet and who, through their work, skills, and experiences, awaken us to other perspectives of life that could prove useful to many others. This is all the more important in our world where excessive complications, coupled with mental overload, exhaust human beings and derail our civilization!

Note Regarding the Quality of the Translated Text
As explained above, this site uses an advanced translation algorithm.
The advantage is that the information from the original texts is instantly available to a wider audience, without the need for the lengthy and tedious work of translation for each language. Additionally, updates can be made regularly.
The disadvantage is that some sentences are a bit awkward, with less-than-ideal phrasing! But we must move with the times and take advantage of what technological advancements offer. However, please note that the algorithm is in a “constant improvement” mode supervised by professionals around the world. This means that when you load the same text a few hours later, the sentence that wasn’t very well translated may have already been improved!
However, this should not hinder overall comprehension.
According to Albert Einstein, the essential point in oral or written communication is that information is transmitted and understood clearly. This is the goal we strive to achieve.
Reader Reviews
Having almost missed out on some interesting books because of certain reader reviews, we’ve all realized that a book can be more or less appreciated depending on when you read it!
What suits one person at a given time may not suit another, and vice versa. The only way to know if something will appeal to us, or be useful to us, is to experience it for ourselves.
That’s why there isn’t a “Reader Reviews” section on this site. However, you can send us your comments to the address provided. We will publish them eventually in a dedicated section.

For optimal functionality, the translation algorithm currently limits our text presentation options. However, we will integrate new features (such as reading guides) as soon as they become available.
