- My bank card was declined, and the “buy” button is no longer available for further attempts. What should I do?
Do not attempt another purchase. Simply go to “My Account,” click on “My Subscription,” and re-enter your card information (or another card) to complete your account. Your ebook will then be available in the “Orders” tab.
- Offline Use
For technical reasons, offline use only works on certain devices. However, once a book is downloaded, some devices allow offline access to the text if you don’t close the tab.
- Font Size
Font sizes can be adjusted depending on your device’s capabilities (text size).
- Reader Mode
For your convenience, many devices have an “reader mode” that simulates the page of a book.
- Page Numbers
Following a survey, readers preferred a long, scrollable text to fixed, numbered pages. To replace page numbers and easily navigate the text, use the detailed table of contents at the beginning of the book.
- Where does your money go?
The funds raised from making ebooks available are distributed among the authors, the people who maintain and improve the platform, and those who research and prepare new books.
It is therefore important to support them by spreading the word about MyEbookPlace.
- Who collects my bank information?
The MyEbookPlace website does not collect any bank information and delegates this task to Stripe.
